If you hadn’t noticed, Gallery broke AGAIN! This time was the the incident that pushed me over the edge. Having been a software developer, I know it isn’t that hard to write software that doesn’t corrupt the database every 6-months without fail. I’m not quite sure why Gallery can’t get it right.

Anyways, update your bookmarks/feeds to point to Flickr. I have updated my sidebar to pull the feed from Flickr now. Watch for me to re-upload a lot of content to Flickr over the next few days. I’m also having fun with the geo location features so check that out too.

This seems to be the result of Google returning a 3D render from my site as the first result for “tropicalsunset.” I don’t know why but the hotlinking bothers me… It shouldn’t since I have so much bandwidth, but it does.

I’m debating replacing the image with the Goatse.cx picture and plastering the following text over top of it: Don’t hotlink, and have a nice day. It might be a little much though.

These tend to be updated everyday with whatever random stuff I come across. I’ve moved the quick links ot the top of my page to make sure people see them. There’s also a RSS feed.

Notice the background? Yeah, it’s a 3D picture I made about 4 years ago. I forgot that I had an old set of images sitting on my webserver, not that I mind keeping them there.

I just thought I’d mention it so everyone still knows that this blog is alive.

I just found it funny that investor swindling is the first thing that came to mind when I saw it.

In other news, my widget is up to #4. I just found a small bug though, should probably fix it soon.

Note: I have no actual knowledge that my company is swindling investors. I’m just stating that big shredders cause me to think of Enron.

The widget is an “illusion of the day” type thing. I frequent this site and the owner did a shout-out for some help. I wrote a widget that downloads his feed and displays the latest picture. Screenshot:

The coolest thing is that after finishing the widget on June 26th, it made it into Apple’s Top 50 (currently #16).

Yeah! :)

My old blog will still be online but I won’t be using it anymore. Basically the focus on this blog is integrating non-traditional blog content. If you look on the sidebar there are lots of feeds/other content that might interest you.

I’m pretty tired so I’m just going to pass out. Maybe I’ll set this up correctly later. Right now the basic framework is in place.
