Rogers has released new Data Plans today. I just switched mine over to the $30 plan which will save me about $30 (plus tax) a month and gives me more than 10x the data.
This is a reminder to you to change your plan over (if you have a BlackBerry) because Rogers won’t do it for you. This only applies to BIS (and not BES) users. Rogers continues to give it up the @$$ to businesses. Sorry.
To make it easier for you to change your plan, here is what you have to do:
Call: 1-877-764-3772
Tell the automated voice you want”wireless service”
Then (if prompted again) you want “sales”
Good times.

You have to listen to this — in it, the Minister lies, dodges, weaves and ducks around plain, simple questions like, “If the guy at my corner shop unlocks my phone, is he breaking the law?” and “If my grandfather breaks the DRM on his jazz CDs to put them on his iPod, does that break the law?” and the biggie, “All the ‘freedoms’ your law guarantees us can be overriden by DRM, right?” (Prentice’s answer to this last one, “The market will take care of it,” is absolutely priceless.)
Canadian Industry Minister lies about his Canadian DMCA on national radio, then hangs up - Boing Boing (see my post from yesterday for the audio)
Residents held a vote on whether to change the name in 2004 after becoming sick of village traffic signs being constantly stolen.
But the vote was defeated and it looks like the village of F**king is here to stay

The last time gasoline consumption declined for a prolonged period was during the oil shocks in the late 1970s and early 1980s, when annual United States consumption declined by 12 percent. Fast-rising oil prices, a deep recession and improved fuel efficiency standards drove down demand for gasoline.

Thinking Ahead. I think somewhere in the area of 70% of geeks I know do this when entering a relationship.
Closer cooperation between Microsoft and Mozilla on standards and web innovation would be a big win for everyone. But until Microsoft gets its act straightened out, Mozilla will be eating Internet Explorer’s marketshare in addition to cake.
