Self Censorship of the Press

It’s a sad day when the media self senors themselves to to this degree. Time magazine actually put out a separate cover in the United States:
The question is if this censorship is occurring because of fear of the government or the people?
The censorship is occurring because, I guess, Afghanistan isn’t a sexy enough topic for the US anymore. Hell, people are getting tired of Iraq; I’m surprised CNN and its brethren have stayed with that story this long.
Speaking of censorship, why are you censoring all my great comments on your facebook wall?
“The man” can find you on tunerds just as easily as Facebook, but the latter is much more fun!
Also, damn you for your misleading post title; I thought “sensorship” was gonna be a Star Trek related thing
