You may find it interesting to know that the "right-wing" groups were actually very strongly involved in the appeal process -- they were listed as interveners in the action, so they all got their say in court (pages and pages of it) but they were being particularly quiet on the media front -- maybe because they were worried that they might not be too well received by everyone? I guess it's just that there's nothing to lose, now that they lost. I, on the other hand, am very thankful that the court was able to uphold the right to equality that we have in Ontario (and most of Canada).
